Pioneers in Franco-Indian academic cooperation by way of its dual-degree programmes initiated in 2009, ESIGELEC and Manipal Universi, India, signed a new agreement on Monday, March the 7th 2016, for students of ESIGELEC to do an academic exchange semester in India, as part of the engineering curriculum.
This new mobility programme offers our students the possibility of studying in one of India’s most reputed universities and learning from an exceptional cultural and human experience. The young French students will be trained along with the Indian students who are part of the dual-degree Master’s programmes: the M.Sc. – Embedded Instrumentation and Controls, launched 7 years ago and the M.Sc. – Automative Embedded Systems, which was rolled out in 2015

Manipal University is currently ranked No. 1 among private institutions in India, with more than 30,000 students and is one of ESIGELEC’s major partners globally. The relationship has grown from strength to strength over the years.
During the signature of the new agreement, ESIGELEC was represented by Mr. Didier Pézier, President, Governing Council, Mr. Étienne Craye, Director, Mr, Cyril Marteaux, Director, International Relations and Ms. Cécilia Brunel, Deputy Director, International Relations. Manipal University was represented by its Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vinod Bhat, Dr. Ramjee, Director, International Collaborations and Prof. Harishchandra Hebbar, Director, School of Information Sciences

The new agreement signed on March the 7th, between ESIGELEC and Manipal University, reaffirms the desire of both institutions to enhance the partnership and to bring peoples of both countries closer through student and faculty mobility.
