Eric DURIEUX, Managing Director of ESIGELEC engineering school, and Patrick LASSALLE, Human Resources Development Manager at SPIE Île-de-France Nord Ouest, have just signed a school-business partnership agreement, on Thursday 13 December 2012.
A global collaboration
This partnership agreement was signed at ESIGELEC by Patrick LASSALLE, Human Resources Development Manager at SPIE Île-de-France Nord Ouest, in the presence of Éric SEMEL, Centre Manager at the Upper Normandy Agency and SPIE Ambassador for ESIGELEC (class of 1990), Alexandra RAIMBAULT, Human Resources Development Manager at the Group’s head office in Cergy, Sandrine BARBAT, Human Resources Manager, Nathalie CHEN, Head of Recruitment and School Relations at SPIE, and Eric DURIEUX, Managing Director of ESIGELEC, in the presence of the Directorate of Corporate Relations, led by Clément PREVOST.
The SPIE company and ESIGELEC plan to undertake shared, concerted action campaigns with a view to promoting new skills, improving student training and further tailoring their courses to the needs of business.
SPIE also aims to make it easier to recruit staff with skills profiles that meet its needs, improve its presence and image among students, who may eventually become future employees, clients or suppliers, and generally become more competitive.
Students and training at the heart of the partnership
Following on from their existing joint action campaigns, and with a view to making a significant contribution, this partnership between SPIE and ESIGELEC will make it possible for them to:
- Form closer ties with the teaching staff through contributions from representatives of the SPIE company, to provide training within their fields of competence (business management, research...) and help students adapt to the needs of industry
- Take part in think-tanks on content development and teaching methods
- Prepare students to join the world of work
- Involve students in communication campaigns run by SPIE
- Make it easier to recruit young graduates, apprentices and interns within the SPIE company and its subsidiaries
- Inform SPIE employees about continuing education options at ESIGELEC, via their training managers
A partnership based on concrete actions
