Graduation ceremony

On Saturday 19 March 2016, 400 young ESIGELEC engineers from the class of 2015 received their degrees. The event was sponsored by Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation. The group maintains close links with the school. Côme Dutot, Manager of the Ile-de-France Industry and Services Agency, represented the Sopra Steria Group at the event.

Engineering training at the cutting edge of digital technology

ESIGELEC’s training specialisms make it one of the group’s target schools. The school delivers a broad-based engineering course covering the fields of Intelligent and Connected Systems, along with a selection of 15 majors. Among these, “Big Data for digital transformation”, “Digital services engineering”, “Network Architecture and Security” or “ICT and Networks Business Engineer” and “Financial Engineer” develop exactly the type of skills valued by digital companies who recruit large numbers of graduates, interns and work placement students each year.

Sopra Steria has become one of the school’s main partners. The group sends representatives to take part in steering committees for our various majors, conferences, recruitment events (Normandy Forum, Work placement fairs, Business Thursdays...), welcomes interns and students on professional training contracts and, above all employs ESIGELEC graduates: 45 of our students have been taken on since 2010. Sopra Steria is currently one of the School’s main recruiters with almost 100 of our engineers among its workforce. Sopra Steria also contributes to the school’s development through the apprenticeship tax.

About Sopra Steria

Sopra Steria is a European leader in digital transformation and, in 2016, will be recruiting more than 2,500 talents in France to take part in large-scale projects across all its activities: consulting, system integration, creating industry solutions and infrastructure management.

To enable it to achieve this ambitious objective, the Group will take on more than 1,200 interns and work placement students with a view to subsequently recruiting them on permanent contracts. As well as skills, we are looking for talents who will share our human values, who can quickly become a part of one of our teams, and who want to get fully involved in our projects.

Sopra Steria is also recruiting young science graduates (from the fields of electronics, mechanical engineering, chemistry, biology...) who would like to get into the digital industries.
The professional training contract shows a firm commitment on Sopra Steria’s part to help more than 250 young graduates from all over France to join the workforce each year.

And you could be one of them! So come and join Sopra Steria and begin your career in a friendly environment at the heart of Europe’s biggest digital projects.
