Participation to WEPI

21 student tutors took part in the 5 th WEPI (Inter-Schools Shared Weekend). This event is part of "3 Cordées de la Réussite" ("Roped Together for Success") held on 24 and 25 March on INSA's campus, in Toulouse.

The WEPI is a national event which brings together 200 tutors from thirty or so French Grandes Écoles. This meeting is aimed at sharing good tutoring practices, fostering tutors’ interest in equal opportunities, increasing the motivation of the tutors regarding their own programmes, and enabling new schools to be informed about our practices.

They were able to attend lectures, workshops including free exchanges of view, and theme-based workshops.

ESIGELEC supervises “3 Cordées de la Réussite” in 2 Normandy departments (2 in Seine Maritime and 1 in Eure), with one focusing on disabilities.
Within these three “3 Cordées”, “The Career Path of the Future Engineer”, “Prep'Avenir” (Preparing for the Future) and “Ambition and Disability”, 47 engineering student tutors are speaking this year at 8 secondary schools and 5 middle schools to young people from lower social economic backgrounds. They contribute to giving them the ambition to pursue studies in higher education and offering them cultural openings, providing them with the additional advantages needed for success.
