The Domot'Adapt project, presented by two 2nd-year engineering students from ESIGELEC, won the “Manag'Ing Innovation” prize, awarded for the most innovative project.
Domot'Adapt aims at providing equal access to home automation in private homes. Carried out by Samuel Dauvin, Jérémy Montagne and Anthonin Suzanne, its purpose is to enable control of the various installations in a home (roller blinds, lighting, electrical sockets, heating, alarms, etc.), regardless of the brands involved through a Smartphone. The application, which is available on Apple and Android, will make it possible to fully customize scenarios.
The team, which has been involved in the competition since November 2011, decided to continue the adventure as an “engineering project” under the framework of the last 2 years of the ESIGELEC course of study so that a demonstrator could be made and, if the opportunity arises, so that they can take the plunge and set up their own company.

The Neopeinture project involving two female students, Mama Tacko Tirera (ESIGELEC) and Fanta Berete (AES), won the "Entreprendre au féminin" Award.
The objective of Neopeinture is to create a paint production unit in Guinea (West Africa) as well as to manage the importation of wallpaper from countries like China, France or Germany. In Guinea, during the various seasons (the rainy season or the dry season), building façades deteriorate easily, leading to problems with humidity and mould. This project enables a response to the issue of deteriorating paint and wallpaper that these buildings suffer from.

From November to April, the " Entrepreneuriales" business start-up training program enables students in the region to spend 200 hours on field work (receiving support via coaches, company managers, and training evenings). Each team of students faces up to its new business concept out in the field and develops its business plan in close accordance with economic and financial realities. Les Entrepreneuriales Upper-Normandy, organized by the “Réseau Entreprendre” entrepreneurial network, have the support of Upper-Normandy Region, the Caisse des Dépôts, Crédit Agricole, the French Association of Chartered Accountants, and Total Group, bringing together all of the actors involved in business start-ups and economic development within the region.
